How Affiliate Manager Expert collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us. Written in plain English. No jargon, no surprises.
This website, affiliatemanager.expert, is owned and operated by Affiliate Manager Expert LLC (“Affiliate Manager Expert,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are a founder-led affiliate program management consultancy run by James Nardell. We help SaaS, software, fintech, e-commerce, and digital product brands manage, audit, recruit for, launch, clean up, and optimize their affiliate programs.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, who we may share it with, and the choices and rights you have. The primary purpose of this website is to let interested businesses learn about our services and get in touch, so most of the information we collect comes from people who choose to contact us.
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email us at [email protected] at any time.
We collect two kinds of information: information you give us directly, and information that is collected automatically when you browse the site.
When you fill out a contact or audit form, request a program review, book a call, or email us, you may share your name, business email, company name, website, role, and details about your affiliate program or your inquiry. You control what you choose to send us.
Like most websites, ours may automatically record technical details such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is standard web and analytics data used to keep the site working and understand how visitors use it.
The details
Expand any section below for the full specifics.
Contact forms and lead forms
When you submit a form on our site, such as a contact form, a request for a program review, or an affiliate growth audit request, we receive the information you enter, plus standard technical details (like a timestamp and IP address) that help us prevent spam and abuse. We use this information to respond to you and to follow up about your inquiry. We may use spam-protection and form tools to keep submissions secure. We do not require any more information than we need to reply.
Scheduling tools (such as Calendly)
If you book a call with us, you may do so through a third-party scheduling tool such as Calendly. When you schedule, that tool collects the details you provide (such as your name, email, and chosen time) in order to set up the meeting and send reminders. Your use of that tool is also governed by the tool’s own privacy policy. We use the booking information only to prepare for and hold the call.
Email communications
If you contact us or ask to receive information, we will email you in response. From time to time we may use an email or newsletter platform to send updates or follow-ups to people who have asked to hear from us. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop sending non-essential email at any time by replying or emailing [email protected]. We do not share your email address with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
Analytics and website performance
We may use website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors find and use our site. These tools typically collect information such as pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, and device or browser type, usually in aggregated or de-identified form. We use this to improve the site’s content and performance. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on, and you can limit tracking through your browser and cookie settings.
Embedded content and third-party services
Some pages may include embedded content (such as videos, maps, fonts, or scheduling widgets) or links to third-party services. Embedded content can behave as if you visited that other website, and those providers may collect data about your interaction. We do not control how those third parties use your information, so we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Affiliate marketing and client work
Affiliate Manager Expert provides affiliate program management and related services to business clients. When we manage or audit a client’s affiliate program, we may handle data on that client’s behalf. Meaning the client decides how that data is used and we act as a service provider (a “data processor”) under our agreement with them. This Privacy Policy covers our own website and the people who contact us; the handling of a client’s program data is governed by our contract with that client and that client’s own privacy practices. We treat client and program information as confidential.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we reasonably need it. To respond to your inquiry, provide our services, maintain business and tax records, and meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or remove identifying details. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you, and we will do so where we are not required to keep it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. For example, using reputable hosting and service providers and limiting who can access your data. No website or method of transmission is ever completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. Such as the right to know what we hold, request a copy, correct inaccuracies, ask us to delete it, or opt out of certain uses or marketing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and tell us what you would like. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law, and we will not charge you a fee for a standard request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, to protect your information.
California and US state privacy
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) gives you rights to know what personal information we collect about you, to request access or deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Residents of other US states with privacy laws may have similar rights. To make a request, email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.
GDPR, UK GDPR, and EEA visitors
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or another region with similar data-protection laws, you have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Where we process your information, we rely on lawful bases such as your consent, our legitimate interest in operating our business and responding to inquiries, or compliance with legal obligations. Because we are based in the United States, information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the US; we take appropriate steps to protect it. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
International visitors
Affiliate Manager Expert is based in the United States, and our website is operated from the US. If you visit from another country, the information we collect will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using our site or contacting us, you understand that your information will be handled as described in this policy.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals, and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our website may contain links to other websites and tools that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. When you follow a link to another site, we encourage you to review its privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, tools, or the law. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Significant changes may be communicated more directly where appropriate.
